Thermocouple Products is a South African temperature sensor manufacturer
established in Edenvale in 1992. The company manufactures and supplies
thermocouples, Pt100 platinum resistance detectors (RTDs), electric heating elements, thermowells and protection sheaths from its premises at 10 Edendale Road West, Eastleigh,
Edenvale, Gauteng.
The management and staff of Thermocouple Products have over 89 years of combined experience in the manufacture of thermocouples and resistance temperature detectors. The company pioneered argon arc micro-welding techniques in the South African thermocouple manufacturing industry, a process that produces a clean, mechanically sound measuring junction and contributes directly to sensor accuracy
and service life.
Thermocouple Products was founded in 1992 and has manufactured temperature sensors in Edenvale for 34 years. Over that time, the company has built a solid market position based on quality of manufacture and technical service, supplying process
industries throughout South Africa.
Manufactured in-house
Supplied
Every design in the Thermocouple Products catalogue can be modified to suit a specific application. Customers can specify non-standard insertion lengths, sheath materials, sheath diameters, process connections, terminations and cable types.
Components can also be purchased separately, allowing customers to construct their own sensor assemblies.
Where a required configuration does not appear in the catalogue, Thermocouple Products can manufacture to a customer’s drawing or sample.
Thermocouple Products manufactures temperature sensors in South Africa to exacting standards, using argon arc micro-welded junctions and materials selected for the service conditions of each application. Thermocouple calibrations conform to recognised ISA colour codes and standard limits of error, with special limits of error available on request.
